Let Us Bring Recycling Education to You!

Can’t make it to one of our Environmental Education Centers? No problem — we’ll come to you!
Whether you’re looking for a recycling assembly for your entire grade level, a presentation for your school’s Green Team, or an interactive lesson for a smaller class, DSWA’s Environmental Education staff can accommodate groups of all sizes.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

- Length: Approximately 45 minutes
- Audience: All ages — ideal for schools, scouts, 4-H, and community groups
- Cost: Free of charge to Delaware schools and organizations
- Equipment: Audio/visual capabilities are preferred but not required

What To Expect

When you schedule a DSWA Outreach Program, our educators will arrive with all the materials needed for a fun and educational experience.

Here’s what to keep in mind:

Set-Up: We’ll arrive a few minutes early to set up visual aids or displays.
Space: A classroom, cafeteria, or multipurpose room works great, anywhere your group can see and hear easily.
Technology: If available, please have access to a projector or screen for short videos or slides (not required).
Participation: Students and participants will be asked to engage through questions, demonstrations, and activities.

Our team makes it simple — just provide the space and the audience, and we’ll handle the rest!
